The game is still in alpha as well man don't expect much from it at the moment 
I wouldn't worry about it right now. It should improve once they get into the beta stage and it becomes a bit more optimized.

As SuctionDrop said the developer wrote in gigantic font that the game still in development and it is not optimized...no idea why people ignore when they write certain things so clearly... The game will improve but at the moment is not optimized at all.
