Best GPU under Rs. 13000 is GTX 650ti. I would highly recommend you to buy that. It will run most of the games on High to Ultra Settings.
  4. I would say an hd 7790 is the best card at that price range. Its a bit faster than the gtx 650ti both in gaming and in compute.

Dude, You are using GTX 650ti ? What you don't like it ? That was good one according to it's benchmarks and stuff.

I bought this 650ti long before the 7790 was released. And owning the 650ti shouldnt make me partial towards my card when there is a bit faster 7790 available at the same price point.

If you look at benchmarks the hd 7790 is somewhat faster than the 650ti. Plus it is much faster at compute.

Good point.....he also might need to either overclock or upgrade the cpu to keep up with the new gpu.
  10. thanks everyone for your replies.

the thing is that i could only spend PKR 13000 and the closest i could get is HIS 7770 icooler 1gb gddr5 (H777FN1G) which is around 12500 (US$118) in Pakistan.

about psu tell me about cooler master extreme II 525 watt its about PKR 5500 (US$52). is it good enough. ill have squeeze my budget somehow for that.

Yes that PSU is pretty decent considering the price..
  12. Well that PSU will work but it is not a decent PSU, not recommended

Isnt cooler master a good enough brand. And considering the fact that he is getting it at such a reasonable rate in a third world country makes it a good deal. Doesnt it??

The nice PSUs of CoolerMaster are very costly.

And u do not want 3rd world countries to progress? It's this reason that they happily accept these kind of products make them not progress

The people from the third world countries have no choice (I personally am a citizen of one).....The heavy import duties imposed by the govt and the unreasonable pricing by the MNCs make it difficult for the people to get quality products at a reasonable price....

Would you believe if I say that the cheapest gtx 780 costs 709 USD in my country. ( India)

This depends on your usage. If you play games like skyrim, crysis 3 and F1 2012 then I'd say upgrade the cpu ASAP. But if you plan on playing games like tomb raider then i think you'll be fine

If you play the Multiplayer then YES, absolutely, you will need an upgrade. But for single player, you will be fine.
