Was going with r9 270x, but the sale ended. now what?

Microcenter has a gigabyte 650 ti boost 2gb for 175 here. Most r9 270x are around 220-240. Is there a better value to be found? I'm looking for the best card around $200. I started looking at 660 but I don't know what's better with all the different options and configurations.

I will be building fx-8320 with m5a97 r2.0. all other components are up in the air as I'm kinda just getting started.

It really depends on what games you will be planning on playing.

Well I get that each game may play better on nvidia or amd. I'm mainly looking for an all around generally good card.

the 270 or 660 is also a good card in this range.

Microcenter has evga superclocked 660 and newegg has gigabyte r9 270 for 180 each. Which would be better?

I think 270 might be better, if phyx doesn't matter, I would get the 270 since it is 256 bit anyways.

yeah the 270 would be better. its performance is pretty much identical to the 270x
