I just moved to a new house, and my non wireless network printers has to be placed very far from my router, and using a long ethernet cable is not possible.

I have a spare router, the TP-LINK W8960N. Is it possible to use this router to capture the Wi-Fi signal from my Asus AC66U, and convert it into ethernet where I can have my network printers connect to the TP-LINK router by ethernet cable?

Thanks

No, the W8960N is a DSL modem/router and they are useless for anything else, no AP or bridge modes available.

If your printers are really "very far" from your router you have two choices other than an Ethernet cable, another AC66U in media bridge mode like THIS or better a pair of Zyxel PLA5205kit powerline adapters and an inexpensive router configured as an AP down next to the printers. That powerline adapter set is expensive but its performance is exceptional, having used dozens of sets of powerline adapters that is finally a set that I can recommend.
