BF4 crossfire help

Why cant i get a steady 60+ fps on any settings. And the cards are MSI 6970 Lightnings

I would tend to wonder if the 1st gen Bulldozer can keep up with the dual HD 6970s. It is in the same gaming CPU tier as the older Phenom II X4s and the first gen Intel Core processors.

On the other hand, this forum is packed with people complaining about getting good frame rates with that game. I think it is still in need of work. Especially online gaming, where it's all about the CPU with busy servers and big maps.

Have you tried overclocking your CPU a little?
It's only running at 3.1Ghz. Correct?

I run my AMD FX8320 @ 4Ghz.

If you have an aftermarket cooler i would try it and see if it makes a difference. I think it will
