Anyone know what's going on with AMD GPUs?

I know all the decent sub-$300 GPUs were snapped up by litecoin miners.

What I really want to know is what happens now.

Now that the 270, 270x, 280x, etc cards are out are there not going to be any more 7900 series cards? And what's going to happen with the 7950 range? There isn't a new AMD equivalent to that.

Solution
Actually the AMD 270x is a slightly tweaked version of the 7870.
If you look at the benchmark below you will see why there is no need for an AMD 7950

Some stores may get the 7950 in stock again. it depends how many are left in warehouses. They will not make anymore though.

Ok, you don't seem to understand my question.

Maybe all the "cheap" 7950s are sold out, maybe they've just raised the price on ALL of them by $50, but right now there isn't a single available 7950 listed below $300 on PCpartpicker (the Sapphire 11196-19-20G listed is sold out).

I know the 270x is equivalent to the 7870 Ghz edition and the 280x is equivalent to the 7970. There IS no 280 (note the lack of an X) to be the equivalent of the 7950. Yet a lot of the 7950s are showing as Sold Out AND Discontinued at Newegg.

I'm trying to figure out if the stores are going to get back the cheaper 7900 series or if it's being completely phased out (in which case I'm not sure what'll happen at the 7950 point--which is the only card in the set I'm interested in).
