I have a Rosewill Challenger U3 case with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO installed. I installed the 212 evo in such a way that it blows the air out of the exhaust fan in the back of my case. Would it be an issue if the CPU power cable rested in between the 212 evo and the back fan case? It doesn't touch either of the fans, it just hangs in between. I haven't had any temperature issues even after hours of Battlefield 4 but could it be an issue in the long term? I only finished building this system about a week ago.

I don't think that would be a problem to cause even the slightest worries here..
can you pick up an extention cable and route it behind the mb?? make sure the wire wont melt from the cpu cooler heat or get sucked into a fan.
Thanks for the lightning fast feedback! The heat output from the fans is nowhere near enough to melt the insulation, and the air flow doesn't seem to move the cable, so those issues are out of the question (although I may still look into alternative cable routing). On a totally unrelated note: my front panel audio jacks emit strange buzzing and crackling noises when audio isn't coming through my headphones at a decent volume. I've made sure the HD Audio cable is securely plugged into the motherboard. Could this be a driver issue? I hate to make another question in the thread but I might as well have it answered now :P
