Hello, I've been having much difficulty trying to get the sound working on my video card's HDMI port. I've tried different video card drivers, both the proprietary ones and open source ones. The card works in windows, so I know it isn't hardware. The card shows up as hd-audio generic in alsamixer, but I cannot get any sound out of it. I don't know if the video drivers come with the audio drivers or not, but it would be nice if I could download just the sound drivers, since the video part works just fine. Please help.

Not sure on your card, but believe it should have a SPDIF cable that will connect to the mobo

If not on the AMD site, might check at the guru3d.com they keep a variety of AMD drivers available
