I bought two sets of Kingston Hyper X memory module sets quite a few months apart but they are advertised as the same model. But when I look in Bios under Part # I get two different Part #'s and these are the numbers: KHX1600C9D3/4GX and 9905403-197.A00LF. What is going on? If I am not wrong they should both be the same part # right?

so the fact that they have the two different part #'s could cause compatibility issues? Lag and freeze in games?

Yes, any time you mix DRAM from different packages it can be problematic, which is why they make such a variety of packages of numbers of sticks, they test them to ensure they all play together, it's possible with any manufacturer to pull 10 consecutive sticks off an assembly line and not even find 4 that will play nice together...So mixing different models can just compound the possible problems

What should I do then? Go ahead and sell the second pair of 12gigs and keep the one set of 12 gigs? If so is that even enough for my son to play his lego games without issues? He has every single lego game and they have been having some serious freeze frame isssues. Also I am looking @ getting a Gigabyte GTX 760 4gb to replace my 2x 560 ti's is that a good trade? I was thinking of getting two 760's but do not know if my PSU will be able to handel that kind of work load.
