Hard Drive Whine

Built my PC about a month ago, and for a while now my hard drive has been making a high pitched whir/whine. Does anybody know what this could be and is there a solution? It's a WD Green 1TB.

I have WD Blue (Sata III, 3.5), and I also have this issue. Should I RMA it? I have it for 1.5years. I didn't have it before, but now I use it as a secondary/storage drive and it makes these squeals, even when inactive. I also have my GPU doing this at idle, very slightly compared to the HDD.

Worst of this is that the sound sometimes comes through headphones in small amounts, when there is nothing playing.

Here are examples, I think I had noise cancellation, so the sound disappears sometimes, although it's constant, but you can still get the idea.
