Background Details

I just put together my first computer and I got a Windows Update notification regarding a Chipset driver/update. I have an Intel 4930K CPU and Asus P9X79 LE Motherboard. This Windows Update notification appeared after I installed Asus AI Suite II off the disc that came with the mobo. To my knowledge, nothing I installed from this disc was an update for the CPU (does such a thing even exist, the use of 'chipset' by Windows is unspecific), and I know my BIOS is up to date because I had to update it via flash as part of putting an Ivy Bridge-E CPU on what was originally designed as a Sandy Bridge-E mobo.

Specific Questions

(1) Windows Update gave me a download link (otherwise I'd link the page) to Asus which downloaded a zip file entitled "Intel_C600_MEI_NULL_HECI_VER1232002". Unzipped, the sole folder was entitled "Intel C600 MEI NULL HECI". I went through the setup.exe file within, and whatever the installation was, it was basically instantaneous. Can anyone shed more light on what I have installed?

(2) The unzipped file remains on my desktop. The installer didn't try and make a new folder somewhere else. Can I delete or move this folder off my desktop? Frankly I've been scared to because if this is some sort of driver for my 'chipset', whatever that exactly refers to, it would seem like a great way to brick my computer if I improperly deleted or modified it.

Solution
Sounds like it just updated a file. No big deal, it was probably just something small hence why it was so fast. Deleting the file won't cause any problems, and no need to pay it much mind really. I'm sure your system si fine.
