Hello all,

I'm looking to buy a GTX 760 within the next hour or so. I have a choice between 3 cards all similarly priced. They are all 760s, the only difference being the stock clocks, cooling solutions and brands. Which of the three would you pick and why? Thanks in advance :D  .

EDIT: Scan links weren't working so here are the company websites

The links dont work, but I can see the brands on them.
MSI is alright but not the best, ASUS and EVGA ACX have the best cooling solutions.
EVGA offers some of the best customer service around.
ASUS has great quality.
I prefer EVGA for its service and cooler, but ASUS is a very close second.

Personally, I went with Asus DC2 because those coolers are very quiet.

Great, thanks for the help :) . I've updated the links now so they work, and to be honest it is between the ASUS and the EVGA in my mind anyway. I currently have an EVGA card but I've been having weird problems with it which is something I should probably contact them about (hence I'm not discounting them). The EVGA has better stock clocks versus the ASUS having a better cooling solution. Would you pick the EVGA still now you can see the two cards?

If you leave them at stock clocks, EVGA, if you plan to OC it yourself, or want a quieter GPU go with ASUS.

i like evga for their great service and the fact that they throw so many goodies in the box with your products.

i'd probably go evga first and asus second.

however... if i had a black & red themed case... i'd definitley go the asus.

(honestly either the asus or evga are both good choices)

Ah yes I forgot about the goodies, my favorite part is how nice their case badges are, and the black 760 backplate that came pre installed on my card.

Oh yeah that's a point, does that ACX come with a backplate cause I can't see it written anywhere.....

They're all good choices but I'd go with the Asus. I have the MSI hawk and even though I haven't tried to overclock or do a lot with it yet its been fantastic. But it costs more so go with the Asus

I'm thinking this is a good time to try out making a poll, never done it before but worth a go :D . Thanks for everyone's advice, sounds like the EVGA is the way to go although there's still something about that ASUS card that is really tempting..... :p

EDIT: All of you feel free to post votes on the poll, so I get a good idea of numbers

EDIT 2: Ok that broke the website, oh well just keep this thread going :p

Just incase you didn't know. Also the MSI Gaming is the best no question, check the reviews.

Wow I actually didn't know that, and since I was gonna buy from Scan anyway, that has actually saved me some money! Thanks :) .
