I am building a rather high end gaming rig that will be overclocked. I'm running:
4670k
Coolermaster 932 HAF
Samsung Evo ssd 250gb
evag gtx 780 w/acx cooling
Seagate Barracuda 2tb
Windows 8
Kingston Hyper X B1 Black 8gb 1600

the computer will be running all the triple A titles in 1080p ultra/highest settings.

More about : gd65 g45 asus hero z87

Oh yes it is. I suggest the Asus Hero RoG based on my personal experience. MSI's GD43/45/65 are not as reliable and there are more occasional duds.

Dear, You've mentioned high end gaming rig, if that is the case and you've the budget along with the full tower case, then go for Asus Maximus VI Extreme, otherwise settle for Maximus VI Formula. You'll not be disappointed at all. I'm also using Formula and the reason I did not get extreme was my case is mid tower which does not have support for E-ATX. Hero is a nice choice as well. My opinion is based on your words of high end gaming and OCing.
