Should I CFX or buy a R9-290 when the price goes back down, or maybe you guys have better ideas :)
Approx. Purchase date: Within January (waiting for aftermarket cooling and the price to hopefully drop down.)
Usage: Gaming, Blender, I am looking for Ultra Settings with at least 60 FPS @ 1080p, my HD 7870 is starting to age a bit and for some games I do have to lower settings, like anti-aliasing (Battlefield 4, Crysis 3) (Unfortunately I am sensitive to jagged edges)
PSU: CX650w
CPU: i5-3570k 4.2 GHz
Preferred Vendor: Amazon, or Newegg, whichever has the better deal

Well If you want to go Nvidia the GTX 770 is in that price range http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Or the more powerful 780: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Both come in 2/4 GB models.
AMD prices are too high right now for almost every card, so I made the switch.

The GTX 770 wouldn't be bad at all, but I'd like a bit more if at all possible, I'll keep this in mind thanks :)
I'd like to get my hands on Hawaii, I am willing to wait to the end of January, but if things stay the same, the GTX 770/780 will do more than fine.

Yeah that might be the best bet to wait it out. I had to drop 300 bucks on my 760 because the 180 dollar 7950 went up to 450.
