Very Simple

Just Right Click My Computer Choose Manage
Then at Computer Management choose Disk Management
At Disk2 Right Click at your "Protect Removable Disk" ex: "Removable Disk (F:)"
and Choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths for ....."
Simple Click "REMOVE", then Click "ADD", simple ....
Try to Format Yours then Try to Copy Another files

I couldn't do anything with my microsd card other than copy the files. I couldn't write to it, or delete or format it. I just solved the problem by going into properties and "sharing" it, and adding all controls to the user of my pc.

Format the card in a digital camera. The camera doesn't care about any protection except the mechanical switch on the card. Once formatted, it should work in the PC without a problem. BTW, the solution works for Macs as well

i had tried formatting inside of android and received a corrupt sdcard error " command 80 volume partition disk 179_96 public failed with 400 80 command failed ". i tried to format in windows using the standard built in windows formatting tool and it fail as well giving me the " Windows was unable to complete the format " so i tried using diskpart and it also would not let me re-partition or format. I was about to try it in linux but i had found a thread online suggesting TWRP. So i formated my microSDcard using TWRP and it SUCCESSFULLY formated. I know you probably dont have TWRP or want to go thru the hassle, but I will assume and am pretty sure that had i tried linux distro or linux live cd it would have re-partitioned and formated as well using mkfs.fat which is what TWRP used to repartition and format.
