You could hook the Asus up as a AP but you would lose many of the advanced features of that router such as parental controls and such.
I would set the zoom device to be a Bridge and then hook your asus up as a normal router and let it control your network. Your zoom when running in bridge mode is running as a stupid modem converting coax cable singnals to ethernet and doing little else.
