I have an HDMI Chromecast that I need to plug into my old HD TV that does not have an HDMI plug. I have an HDMI to DVI-D converter, but it doesn't transfer the audio. Is there a converter that goes from HDMI to S-Video, RCA or Component plugs? Which is the best to use without losing quality?

You may have a problem as the Chromecast is powered via the HDMI connection so if if doesn't see power from the converter it will not turn on. Best conversion would be from HDMI to component video/ analog audio as that is the only one that can give you HD.

You will need a convertor box to go from HDMI (digital) to any of those analog inputs I listed. They run from $50 and up.
