$500 USD Gaming PC build (No OS)

Solution
$500 is a really tight budget to do a decent build with. Id say wait till you save $100 or so and go with something as listed above.
Although this build has a lower end GPU and no third party cooler, which you can buy additionaly aswell as the better GPU in future. Me personaly i wouldnt use optical drive, since you can install OS through the USB drive nowadays so if you cut that out you got yourself a $500 build.
I went with a FM2+ motherboard cuz of the next gen CPUs that are coming out so it gets little more future proof.

I think this should be a solid build for you! Squeeze those extra $56 if you can and get the cheaper HDD / less capacity. It has a decent cooler, not the top notch but still better than the stock one.

Antares build is $588 btw. The ASUS card is out of stock. I went with a more reliable Seagate HD and the Gigabyte R9270.

The Athlon lacks l3 cache which will hurt in games depending on the card you get. I would personally choose the FX-4300 as it is 9 dollars more, has better performance, has l3 cache, and has a better upgrade path.

Hes trying to get below $500 which was too tough for me i guess. You would have to cheap on parts but also not bottleneck a powerful GPU.
