Hi All I recently brought a 2gb EVGA GTX770 video card- I have just started to benchmark it and in a number of resolutions it is limited to 30FPS- I believe i should be able to be getting more frames than this/better performance.
My specs are:
AMD FX6200 3.8 GHZ 6 Cores (Factory Overclocked)
16GB DDR3 1600MHZ Memory
1TB DATA HARD Disk Drive
700w PSU 54 AMPS ON 12V+ Single Rail
AMD 900+SB950 Motherboard Chipset

What would be the easiest way to tell if anything is being bottle necked? Thanks again,
Matt

Well there maybe is. Are you sure that you don't have v-sync turned on? check in nvidia control panel and take it off in games or just let geforce experience optimize your games :)

Even FX 8350 sometimes is bottlenecking a little the fast cards .But i dont think this is the case .Check the gpu load -if it is below 100% , it is bottlenecked. There are a lot of tools .GPU-Z for instance .

Hey white cat-the gpu load seems to be maxing out at 98% (averiging 95%) however i noticed that the gpu temp got up to around 74 C would either one of those be making it a little framy/glitchy? thanks-matt

Gpu's can handle alot of temps, even over 90c. Don't worry

I wouldn't worry about GPU temperatures until they started hitting 85C

95-98% GPU load is definitely a good usage, you'd definitely see benefits if you overclocked your CPU

"Bottleneck" in this case just means that your GPU won't see full utilization since the CPU will be holding it back a little bit, they technically always exist, it's just a matter of how much it is

And no, bottlenecking won't mean that it won't function xD, just not to the card's full potential
