It seems at least for me every time windows "supposibly" gets better its always worse. I really miss win 98 and xp, those computers are still running perfect.
Anyway I got a Aspire V5 laptop for christmas running either Windows 8 or 8.1, used it for a day. Checked email, workout on my website, closed the screen, left it charging. 2hrs later put it away.
Next day open it up, its dead...? k? So I go to charge it and then turn it on. Windows gives a message that an error occured. Then it gives a list of available options once it wont start. There were no system restore points made, the system recovery failed. I tried every option displayed on there "problem fixing screen" to no avail.
I dont have the windows 8 disc yet, because it was a pre-built gift. But do I really have to re-format this fcking thing already. Sorry for the language, but this was one day old.
Is this a common issue?
