monitor not working after installing new graphics card 660 Superclocked evga

I have a lenovo k450 with the gt 630 graphics, 8gb memory.

i upgraded the PSU with a cx500m psu, and the evga gtx 660 super clocked, i installed the power supply booted it up uninstalled current graphics card restarted and then replaced it with the new card, i turned on pc and was followed by 2 beeps and a black screen. the pc still runs but no picture. its quieter running with the new card in it to lol.....please help

What motherboard, cpu and fan? Did you completely uninstall the nvidia drivers and run ccleaner to clean up any kruft in the registry?

Did you plug the PCI-E power connectors into the card it is common to forget them.

i am not sure on the motherboard it is the default one in lenovo k450
i will try to find out the model.
and i have plugged the pci-e cable into graphics and into psu?

I ran cleaner, along with driver cleaner or something like that.


cpu is i5 3440 i believe.
12vdc taisol ball bearing fan is what is shows on the sticker for fan
