Good evening, I am new to the forums and hopefully someone can help me. I have a windows vista 32bit computer AMD fx 62 with an nvidia geforce fx 7900 video card, and an asus mli motherboard. My computer works great on my tv in the basement which is a 32 inch olevia TV. I brought it up to my living room to use as a pvr on my samsung 50 inch dlp tv, but my cpu runs at 100% when plugged in. When I look in process explorer I find this: ntkmlpa.exe!kequerysystemtime+0x50 is running both cores making the computer run slowly. I plugged the computer back in the basement and it runs great. Is there a driver that I can work on the TV. I plug the TV in via HDMI. The only difference between the two is that I plug the 50 inch tv on to the HDMI3/DVI port and there is only one HDMI port on the 32 inch. Please help.

I am sorry I was not too clear. When I plug the computer in to the 50 inch HDTV the computer drags, it takes forever to load and forever for me to open applications. When the computer is doing nothing the cpu through system processes says 100%. When I plugged the computer in to the 32 inch HDTV the computer cpu is idle and I have no problems. Yes I use an HDMI connection for both HDTVs, I am wondering if the computer has to work harder since it is a larger screen? I have also had this computer hooked up to the 50 inch in the past and have not had this issue. I will hook up to the tv via 15 pin monitor cable to see if that fixes the issue later

I do not know what was wrong, I brought the computer back up from the basement and set it up in my living room. When I turned it on a usb circuit overload error( I am not sure what it said 100% but it involved the USB) and would shut down in 15 seconds. I took the side panel off my chassis and now the computer works great plugged in to my 50 inch tv. The cpu is not spiking to 100%.
