Hello. i really need some help. 7 days ago I had bought Sapphire HD 5850 1gb Game edition. It is used and is almost 4 years old. Seller had said that it works properly. But After testing it this 7 days 2 time this happened:
Card was on idle with normal specs:
Gpu core clock: 157 mhz
Gpu memory clock: 300 mhz
Gpu temp: 40-41
VDDC: 0.9500 V
VDDC current: 1.7 A
And I had noticed that fan speed is spinning faster about 25% from 21%.I was just browsing with firefox. SO I had checked temps and I got THIS:
Gpu core clock: 157 mhz
Gpu memory clock: 300 mhz
Gpu temp: 54
VDDC: 1.6500 V
VDDC current: 15.7 A
This is specs when I am gaming for example GTA 4 maximum details:
Gpu core clock: 725 mhz
Gpu memory clock: 1000 mhz
Gpu temp: 73
Gpu load: 100%
Memory usage: 904 mb
VDDC: 1.0875 V
VDDC current: 40.9 A
Can anyone explain me please HOW is this possible and why? I was not overclocking. It works on default gpu 725 mhz and 1000 mhz. When I had bough this card I had dissemble it and clean it.It was full of dust and I had applied new thermal paste MX-4. I had noticed micro small black spot on processor of card and I could not clean it. Could it be damage??? Everything else works fine I think. When gaming.
