Im thinking of either upgrading my system to EVGA gtx 770 or gtx 780 which one would you recommend?

Another question: If I'm ok upgrading the EVGA gtx 770 would a Corsair CX750M Psu that produce 750 watt be ok?

Solution
750 watt is more than enough for one of those cards and it could even manage an sli setup if needed. In your case I would go with the GTX 770 whether it be the 2gb version of the 4gb version, its up to you. Either card would be okay but you might see a bottleneck if you choose the GTX 780.

What kind of games are you looking to play? What settings? What Resolution?

If I can ask a question, what is your budget for your upgrade? If you stretch your budget a little you can build a decent all new system and the upgrade your GPU when 20nm nodes come out and pick a card according to your budget and use case scenario.

The intel HD Graphics are on-die graphics which means the cpu is your graphics card, which means you currently don't have an actual graphics card. Your monitor resolution of 1280x1024 suggests either 17" or 19" screen, both of which the 770 and 780 are overkill for. Unless you're looking at upgrading your screen as well I would look at a 750/750 Ti/760.

And lastly, a 750W power supply is overkill for this system as well. A 600W supply is more than capable enough to power it, and with a lesser card this can be dropped to a 550W or lower.
