I am planing to buy a cyberpower desktop for about 800 dollars is cyberpower a good reliable company or a scam

I ordered my first computer from there and the motherboard was DOA. Later the first 4GB RAM Stick became corrupt. Later I had to re-install windows and reformat my HDD. Now, I am currently researching a new computer which I will be building with my friend.

So no.
In my opinion, CyberPower is not reliable.
PC's are Personal Computers, they are meant to be built.

I trust them in most categories and have even bought a computer from them years ago, my only advice is to upgrade its PSU to a brand name one as they tend to skimp in that category.

If you are up to it though, build yourself a computer. It is easier then you might think and is a rewarding experience if you have never done it before. You will also have the benefit of saving a few bucks.

I typing this message on a cyberpowerpc and love it. They have people who genuinely care about their customer's dissatisfaction. My friend and I both ordered a pc from them and they came to us with 0 problems. If there should be a problem with the order or faulty hardware not working, they take it back and replace any part needed and send it back to you. they want you to have a working pc and they will do whatever to make it happen until you're happy.
