Just a fast question but is there a significant speed loss in networking cable length speeds. Like i want to purchase a 50 foot networking cable, split it three ways, then hook it up to my gaming pc, my xbox 360, and my xbox one. Would i be better just using wireless? Thanks

Solution
Cat 5e Ethernet cable. the max distance from point to point is 95m to 100m.
After that you may loose signal quality due to the length of copper cable used. And any potential signal interference that may be picked up by the run of cable, or cross talk as we call it.
Good examples are laying it parallel with electrical mains cable in close proximity.

If your internet connection is fast enough.
Then you should have no problems.
