I'm right at the 30 fps mark maxed out on Assasin's Creed Black Flag. I see noticeable lag because my fps drops occasionally to as low as 27 fps. I tried overclocking and it worked, until I got a red screen and had to reboot 20 minutes later.

Is there a stable GPU and memory clock I could use so I don't go under 30 fps, but not crash either? Thanks.

Stock GPU Clock: 1050 MHZ
Stock Memory Clock: 1400 MHZ
CPU: 4.3 GHZ

Solution
The max overclock you will get depends on the luck of the draw (every card is not identicle). Just bump up the core clock until you get either a crash, and when you do get a crash, crank the clock back by another 20 mhz to be safe

Then after you find a safe core clock overclock, do the same process with the mem clock. Use something like unigine valley to stress the card and let it loop for about 15 minutes at each level of your overclock. You should be able to do a minimum of 50 mhz on both core clock and mem clock to start (though i'm not sure what you will be able to do if you have pre-overclocked card. If 50 on each fails, just do the raising of 10mhz at a time until you find a stable overclock

When should I start to add some more power to the GPU? My GPU clock is currently 1140 MHZ, while my memory clock is at 1490 MHZ. I'm currently getting 64 degrees on that benchmark, and no crashing. But I heard you should start to add power to the GPU at a certain point, but when?

This is called overvolting, and you can do it if you want too, go up by 2-3 mv at a time, or just max the voltage and continue overclocking noramlly...Typically it isn't wise to run a card at your max overclock at all times...reduces the life of it..i recommend getting what you can out of the card without touching the voltage. When you hit that limit, and still want more, start looking for a more powerful card
