Will this GPU card fit in this case ?

Hello everyone. I am thinking of buying this graphics card for $200 + tax

Asus 7870 "ghz edition"
Dimensions: 10.47" x 4.25" x 1.54"

My computer is an acer ame600 & 500w psu
Dimensions: 14.9" x 7.1" x15.8"

Will this fit or should I look for a slimmer card... Thanks in advance.

It will fit. You could fit pretty much any card in that case, just make sure you have proper airflow in the case

also thickness of card is usually pretty standard (2 slots) it is the length that you need to worry about, but as i said, it will fit with a few inches to spare

I doesn't say on the websites but I will say yes that it will fit, just to make sure, I would open up the case and measure from the far right hand side of the PCI-E slot to the front and then you'll see if there is enough space.

That is great to know thanks, I'll have to open it up tomorrow. Could the Acer stock cooling fan cause the GPU to overheat ?

you mean the CPU? or the fans inside the case? The fans/heatsink/heatpipes on the graphics card will do plenty enough to cool that down, the CPU the stock cooler won't help if you overclock too high

it looks like the case is well ventilated enough for the stock gpu cooler to be fine, so no worries there my friend
