Tried too many power supplies need help.

This is currently the build I'm planning on getting: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2s3lM

I have done research and am stumped on what power supply to get. I have considered:
Corsair cx, rm, hx, gs series and all have been loud in other users experience. I've had a look at a few other supplies but there are too many to list. I am looking for a 850W power supply (Might be planning on SLI and overclocking in future).

[strike]I've come across the Silencer Mk III 750W power supply and heard good reviews so far about it but I don't want to spend days and days researching just to find out it's not the right power supply. [/strike] 750W won't suffice for two 750 SLI if i overclock and I was only able to get it at amazon due the my location (Australia) - Amazon doesn't sell the 850W version.

The main concern for me is the level of noise the power supply will make.

Well, 750w is plenty even with overclocking the ENTIRE computer. Like I showed you above, their overclocked system pulled 502w with a VERY heavy CPU overclock. Add about 50w per card MAX for overclocking (overrated number of course) and you are barely passing 600w.

Anything from antec, XFX, Corsair (not CX), and Seasonic will be fine.

750w is MORE than enough for SLI 770s and overclocking on the whole system. I promise.

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_770_sli_review,4.html look at the test system. 2 770's in SLI and an OVERCLOCKED i7 3960x at (1.4v)!! They also disabled ALL power saving functions and their computer pulled 502w MAX under FULL load. The CPU alone will require double the power of yours when comparing both at overclocked speeds.

750w is plenty for SLI 770s. I SLI'd 570s (use more power) for 1.5 years on 750w without issue.

Looking around, 850w would be better due to the overclocks i want on both the cpu and gpu. Also I'd like to purchase from Amazon as I live in Australia. I couldn't find the 850w version on Amazon :/ Do you think there are other silent psu's?

I really appreciate your help!

I would ditch the h90 in favor of an air cooler. A good air cooler will cool just as well and not make half the noise that thing will. Closed loop coolers aren't great ESPECIALLY for a quiet build. You NEED an air cooler for silence. That case will not be quiet no matter what. Get the Fractal Design R4 if you actually care about noise. I would get windows 8.1 for sure. It is better in every way. Even games run better on it. I can get out the benchmarks if you do not believe it.

The difference between the stryker and the 500r for example is very minimal. (Had a listen and feel of them both)

Also the h90 is more quiet at 41dB than a cm evo/ 212+ as it can reach 45+dB at maximum loads. (even though it specifies 36dB). The evo is quiter during idle/ lower loads but I'm more concerned with maximum loads when gaming. I'd just have to do a little more research between the h90 and the zalman lq320.

Also I prefer windows 7 over windows 8.1. Frame difference (literally minimal change) isn't worth the change personally.

The Noctua HN-D14 is the cooler you want. It will be WAY more quiet than the h90. It will also cool better.

Windows 8.1 is better in every way but to each their own.

Also, those cases are very similar but neither are anything close to as quiet as the Fractal Design R4.

The 500r isn't bad but it is nothing compared to the R4. Your best bet if you want a 'flashy' case is to buy VERY high quality fans. Noctua's of course. These will help with noise.

For example I have 3 19dB fans in my case, my GPU is dead silent at idle, and my CPU cooler uses two 19dB fans as well, and I can easily hear my computer under my desk. For a truly silent computer, you have to do ALOT of work and spend ALOT of money.

Not hoping for a truly dead silent PC otherwise I'd go with watercooling but I'm hoping for sounds at about <30. I might just go with the stryker. Would you recommend me any fans to replace the stock fans? I was having a look at the corsair af120 quiet series.
