I just got another 4 GB stick of RAM putting me at 16GB total. However, my computer is not recognizing it. My computer only says 8GB. I've checked all the slots and each stick. They all work (each stick and each slot) and each stick is the same speed as well. Does anyone know why it's not recognizing the other 8GB isn't being recognized?

I have Windows 8 Pro 64-bit and an ASUS P8Z68-V LX Mobo. As well as an Intel i5-3570k CPU.
This is the RAM I'm using 4x4GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233141

Solution
Can check in MSCONFIG>BOOT>ADVANCED and make sure MAX MEM isn't checked, but have a feeling it may just be the DRAM doesn't all want to play together which happens rather often when mixing sticks from different packages even if they are the same model number - try raising the VCCSA to 1.1

I have cleared it. I thought that would have worked, but it did not.

I'll try it with the original sticks and raising the voltage.

I have tried raising the Voltage and it did not work as well. While looking through the BIOS I found where I could look at the DRAM slots. Each one shows that it has a 4GB stick in it.
