My GPU gets up to 40*C when im playing Battlefield 4 on Ultra settings. I also tried lowering the quality to HIGH settings and it did the same.

I have a GTX 770 with 4GB of ram.

I also have a 300R Corsair Carbide Windowed Case.

im getting this information using TechPowerUp.

*EDIT* I just ran the game on LOW settings just to see and TechPowerUp said it shot up to 45*C im really confused.

More about : gpu hot

Dont worry 40C is very good for a gpu even at idle.

Remember anything below is 80C is absolutely fine for a GPU.

80*C full load is fine for GPUs. 95C For some of the New AMD Chips

Just to backup what Ayushde said.

Don't worry at all, actually your GPU is working just fine and you should expect more heat than that when playing a game like Battlefield 4.
