It has been happening for quite a while now that my computer shut down when I was playing games. Sometimes it happens after I play for a while and sometimes it happens the second I enter the game. 2 days ago I played a game for 8 hours straight and nothing happened, while yesterday my computer shut itself down 3 times when I entered the same game and twice after playing for about 20 minutes. I have tested the ram with memtest and it didnt show any errors, I did the torture test for my cpu with prime 95 and it worked fine and my gpu went up to 90°C while testing (which is more than it ever is while gaming) and nothing happened aswell. Some people told me that it might be the psu that is causing this. I would really appreciate any help

Your power supply should be more than enough power. If it's doing it in games only, check your graphics card fan and make sure their is no dust. Some cards well auto shut off if too hot

Yes I did that, but the thing is that, since it sometimes shuts down the second I enter the game, it couldnt be it, since the hardware simply has no time to heat up so much in such a short time. Am I right?

I dusted it out properly and have now been playing for over 2 hours without problems, with my gpu going up to 65°C and cpu up to 65°C aswell. Seems like this was indeed the problem and it works...for now. Thank you!
