I recently bought a new SSD and previously had an old 500 GB HDD. I formatted my HDD and re-installed W7 on my SSD. I'd like to put all my junk, i.e OS, music, pictures, Skype, ect onto my HDD and put one game on my SSD for maximum performance on the game. How can I go about doing this? Do I format my SSD and install W7 onto my HDD?

No, the HDD does not need its own OS.

This completely self serving tutorial can assist with doing what you want:

Is it beneficial to do what I am saying, OS on HDD, load SSD, and have one game on it for maximum performance or should I put OS onto SSD with the small things. I got 120 GB and am using 70 GB with OS and all programs, is that fine? Am I getting maximum performance?
