I was wondering, people say there is more input lag in DVI connection than VGA connection and vice versa.. but is there a diffrence in input lag between using DVI or VGA or are they identical and the only lag happening is the processing from the monitor?

Solution
There should be no such latency difference if you do not use DVI and VGA adapters. However VGA uses analouge so it has to be converted by ADC and DAC so there will be a tin (VERRRY tiny (Unnoticable) latency in VGA).
However DVIs digital signals provide clearer larger resolutions

So did you test the input lag time in each connector or you just feel the difference?
