Yesterday I shut down my PC normally and did not change anything. Today when I tried to power it up, fans started spinning, but I got a black screen (no POST, no beeps on Mobo, no debug LEDs lit up). I checked it without RAMs and only one RAM and without graphics card and a graphics card that I know for sure works correctly. None of these changed anything.

I noticed that the MBIOS and BBIOS LED's were flashing sequentially, each one staying lit for about 2-3 seconds. Does this imply that my BIOS is corrupted? How do I identify the source of the problem? Google returned nothing useful, most of the threads are unsolved or solved by completely different methods. How do I go about troubleshooting this?

My specs are as follows:

Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H
Intel i5-3570k 3.4 GHz
G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4 GB 1600 MHz
ASUS GTX 680
Corsair AX850

Thought of that, but before trying, what could have changed overnight to cause such a problem?

Is it possible that something other than the board is faulty? I will RMA it if I cannot solve it for another couple of days. Also, I could not find info regarding these LEDs in the board manual.

No, since the BIOS leds are flashing. But... of course, hard to be sure without swapping parts.
What you can also try is removing the power cord, pressing the power button for about 30 secs, then if a case speaker is connected, starting the board with only CPU and CPU fan connected.
See if any beeps.
If still no go... 99% I'd say that it's the board.
