Hey, everyone.

I am interested in purchasing the EVGA 780 with ACX cooler and was curious if my power supply would be compatible. I was unsure if it has an 8 pin connector and a 6 pin connecter - the card i have now doesn't use 8 pins.

XFX bronze 550w
A-Data SSD 128 gb
1 TB western digital blue hd
msi z77 mobo

Thanks everyone! I really hope it is compatible, because i would hate to buy another power supply since this one has treated me so well.

Yes, that PSU is fine. It has a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin Pci-e connector, which can fit either 6 or 8 pin sockets. Your PC will use ~450w with a gtx780 (assuming 5 or fewer case+CPU fans; each case/cpu fan ~5w). You have room for overclocking as well.
