Will this build run Skyrim on Ultra, with mods efficiently. Help and advice would be fantastic, thankyou.

Asus 787 A Mobo

Western Digital 1TB HDD

Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

i7 4770 Quad Core Processor

Corsair 16GB Ram

Corsair 1000W PSU

XFX 7950, also does anyone know if the difference in the 7970 makes the extra £18 or so worth it?

And a cooler master HAF X case.

(I'm aware these parts can probably be found cheaper elsewhere, but Amazon was just easier to find links on)

Also I tend to use photoshop and some video editing programs on occasion, I'm an ex media student and old habits die hard. I know they can be pretty intense to run sometimes.

If anbody can suggest other options or cheaper parts that are as good, please feel free as I'll be honest when I say I don't know a great deal about these things, or not yet anyway I'm doing my best to learn

Go for the 7970. Also, the 16GB of RAM and a 1000W PSU all seem like an overkill. You may still utilize the extra RAM, but anything above 800W-850W is an overkill as even if you OC, you won't need that much of Wattage. If you still want extra Wattage to have Crossfire/SLI in the future along with more than one monitor then the extra Wattage and extra RAM are justified. Also, if you just plan on using the SSD for running the BIOS and other basic stuff, I suggest going for a 120GB one. Also, if you plan on doing some serious editing then the extra RAM is good o have. If you plan on OCing, go for a good cooling system (Hyper 212 Evo is probably the most famous) and go for water cooling if the budget allows you to do so. Hope this helped...

Yes, you can definitely run skyrim on ultra settings

Their is a noticeable difference between the 7950 and 7970 and I say get the 7970 as it is only a £18 difference

If you are looking for parts, use pcpartpicker.com as it searches most of the major online stores so that you can find the cheapest
