can my system play black ops 1

Hi I have a dell optiplex 380 computer with 4gb ddr3 ram 320gb HDD Intel core 2 duo e7500 (dual core of 2.93ghz) and a 1gb nvidia geforce 8400gs and I was wondering if or how well I could play black ops 1 on my computer.

Your cpu can max it out but your gpu is below the lowest recommended settings. So I think you should give it a shot with Very low settings with all the other settings at lowest possible. But still you may get around 20 Fps.

No you can't, there will be lots of lag. You could add a graphics card that your PSU will support and try that.

idk i have seen videos of people playing it with the 8400gs on youtube and they were getting 30fps on medium to low settings is that possible?

okay thanks also i have a low watt psu 255 watts pretty sad and my 8400gs runs at 40watts so if i were to replace my 8400gs the new gpu would have to run at no more than 40,45 watts

I really don't think so, You will hardly hit 20 FPS with 8400gs with lowest settings. But in those videos they might have overclocked their gpu. So I guess you should try the same, Overclock it as much as you are able to, maybe then you will get 30 Fps, but I still doubt that.

Go to the top right hand side of your screen where it shows the notifications. Your name should be in blue to the left of it along with a black arrow. Click the arrow and then click manage profile.

maybe on minimum settings.. Save a few bucks and pick up a 7750 for $70.

Yes that gpu can run black ops 1, but that's really a weak gpu so I think you should atleast buy hd 7750 or 7770 by saving some more money.
