Hello,

This is my rig:

Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
8GB RAM
Crossfire AMD Radeon HD 6900

When I just play games, everything runs great, but once I try live streaming, it will reboot itself.

Someone has suggested that it was my power supply, which is Corsair GS600. Is that enough power to run my rig?

Complete noob here, any help appreciated!

Edit: Just took some temps. While gaming alone my core is about 70C and while streaming on top of that is around 90C.

I am using OBS. No other problems with reboots any other time.

When I run Prime95, my temps around 94-96C. Don't know how long I'm meant to run it for though.

Some run it for 1 hour, some 2, some 24.

96c is very high, especially if you only ran the test briefly. I think when you livestream you're overheating the CPU and you're getting a thermal shutdown to protect your CPU. I think you'll need a new CPU cooler, are you currently using the stock one?

Also what are you using to monitor temps?

Yes I believe I am using the stock CPU cooler. Also, I measured temps with a program called RealTemp.

Any suggestions on CPU coolers? Maybe I'll give that a shot.

Any other suggestions while I wait for my cooler to come?

The CM Hyper 212 EVO performs great and is reasonably cheap. If you want to go higher end you could have a look at the Noctua NH-D14 or the AiO water coolers such as the h80i/h100i.

For the meantime you could try cleaning your PC of dust using a can of compressed air, if you have one handy.
