hey i have bought 8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz RAM for my new build, i also have an excisting 4GB of RAM in my current PC (i think it is some sort of value ram)
I weas wondering if it is possible and safe to mix both of these brands and have all 3 in my new PC?
I am fine with just the 8GB but it would be nice to have that extra 4GB.
can you even use 3 Ram slots instead of 1, 2 or all 4 slots?

after looking into it, the value ram also runs at 1600MHz
