My computer won't connect to the apple router

So here's the deal, when I first got my computer it wouldn't connect, so I connected to the guest network. Then one day the guest network stopped working and I can't connect to my apple router. It says connected but I can't open anything internet related. please help.
Ps it's an apple time capsul

I know this is an old forum, but if you haven't resolved it yet...
What's the IP address your computer obtains? If you have a Windows machine, click start>type "cmd" *enter*> type "ipconfig" *enter*. You should see IPv4 address.
I'm wondering if it's even pulling from DHCP.
