Windows 7 random crashes

I installed windows 7 32 and after that the 64-bit versions and on both my computer keeps crashing randomly. The most crashes happen playing MP games, but it'll also crash while just idle, typing in word or just browsing the web. The computer was running on Winows Xp just fine, which makes the software the cause of the problem.

Can someone please help me?

How did you install the various versions? Going to win7/32 from XP was an upgrade while going to win7/64 would have required a clean install. Are you using certified legit copies of windows. What are your computer specs. (brand, model, etc.)? If you already know it is the software what is your question? Is your bios, chip set drivers and other device drivers up to date. Is your windows fully updated (does windows update say it is)? Have you updated and installed 64 bit or latest drivers for your other devices? Does device manager show any question or exclamation marks next to a device? How much free disk space do you have? Have you run any malware and anti-virus scans? Perhaps if you provide responses to these questions we can start to help you.
