Yes that's completely fine, however I have a feeling you're telling us your idle temperatures, which mean very little. Did you put your CPU under load while reading the temps (using prime 95 or intel burn test)?
I read the temps while i was in my bios which probably means it was on idle, Can you send me the links to the software i can use to check my temps? Also can you tell me what a good temperature is for idle, medium usage, and heavy usage?
Ok so those temperatures mean nothing. Don't concern yourself with the idle temperature (unless it's something ridiculous) as it depends a whole lot on your ambient temperature. The only thing you should worry about is when you CPU is under 100% load. I personally like to use Intel Burn test (
download link) . Try running that for a good 10+ minutes and then measure your temperature there. I like using Real Temp to measure temperatures (
download link) . Anything under 80c is way within your safe zone, I would start getting concerned if it goes over 90c. Let us know how it goes!
