Hey there,

I've recently purchased parts to build a PC. My case has five onboard fans, however my motherboard only has two Sysfan connections. I was wondering how I would connect the remaining three fans for my case? Would these connect to the power supply instead, is that possible?

Case: Zalman Z11 Plus ATX Mid Tower
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+
Power supply: XFX Core Edition 550w 80+ Bronze Captive PSU

Sorry if I sound stupid, a bit new to this.

Cheers!

You can do multiple things here if you want pwm you can get a pwn splitter and then still be able to control all you fans of the 2 headers in your motherboard.

You can buy a fan controller and have you fan running of them. These plug into a drive bay

Or you can just have them running of you psu but this means youe will not have any controll over them they will just spin at maximum rpm and that is it.

Hope this helped :)
