I had to take apart my Asus G73JW laptop to blow out the vents for the CPU and the GPU. They were clogged beyond belief... it is amazing that my laptop was not overheating.
Upon putting it back together again, I went to put the mousepad connector strip into its slot, and when I gently went to snap the black hinge down to lock it in, the hinge broke.
I have no way of making that strip connect nice and snug to the board without that black hinge.
Without buying a whole new board, how do I get that strip to make the connection without the hinge?
