Budget range: ~2,000 w/o shipping w/o rebates (flexible, can go up to $2,500)
System usage: Work (Maya, photoshop, Illustrator, dream weaver, 3-d graphics - 2-d Graphic programs), work, gaming, leisure
OS: Yes, Windows 7
Preferred websites: Newegg
Location: united states

As stated in the title, this will be my first PC build, and I am not really sure what I am doing - or what I'm looking for. I have picked out some parts so far, (I just upgraded a couple of parts from a combo deal) and I do not know what else I would need.
I would be using this computer for high-end graphic design work which will include really resource-intensive applications, such as photoshop, illustrator, maya 3d, and others. I'll be using Adobe master collection so I would really like for all of these programs to run smoothly without any problems.
This is what I have so far, and I would like some opinions on if these items are compatible with each other and what else I would need for the computer as well? I want these items to come as soon as possible, and when I receive it I can just put it together and have it ready to go and in working condition.
Thank you so much for the help!! I'm really not sure what I'm doing so I would appreciate all the help I could get. :)

Also with this, would I need an liquid cooling system as well? And what should I do for a wireless network system? How can I make my computer connect to the internet through wifi? I am not in a place where I can plug up my router directly to my computer.
Also, if I want more USB drives, what parts would I need?
Thank you very much!

Solution
Hi, Michelle this is what I would suggest for a build. This motherboard has built in wi-fi, also with the programs you are getting into I would suggest 16gb of ram. Then I put on a more powerful GPU and selected a power supply strong enough so you could add a second card later on if you needed too. You do not need liquid cooling if you are not going to over clock, i only added the Evo 212 because for the price it is a cheap cooling solution. The I7-4770k is also a better choice for what you want to do

you want to use the newer 1150 mb and cpu. the older slot is a dead slot if your going to use this pc for a few years.
added more ram with photoshop and your large aps more ram is better. also went with a larger drive so you can make a scratch or ram drive on it. I help off on the video card as nvidia droping there new 800 line in a few weeks.

First off, the CPU and mobo are mismatched the 3770 runs on the 1155 socket and the Z87 mobo is an 1150, I'd change the CPU to the 4770K....the mobo chosen will work fine, though for a little less can go the Asus Maximus Extreme VI Hero, on the DRAM 1600/10 is below entry level of 1600/9, would suggest 16GB 2x8GB Gskill Tridents in at least 1866/8 or 2133/9 (Haswell CPUs love fast DRAM, see here:

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7364/memory-scaling-on-haswell

Rest looks good, would a CPU cooler like the Hyper 212 EVO (about $35) and you'd be good to go (may not want to OC the CPU in the future you'll be ready and can prolong the life of the rig

With all the heavy processing power you will require, I focused the build more around CPU power.
It has a Six-Core Ivy Bridge-E processor, and 32GB of RAM. Included is a closed loop liquid cooler to squeeze out extra performance for your rendering.

The video card remains the same.
