Hello, i am probably picking up a gtx 660 tomorrow and was wondering which version i should get. Im decicidng between the evga superclocked or the twin frozr by msi. Which one do you guys think is better, and why? Thanks

Solution
Yeah, but it will be louder and run a little warmer. Also with a program like EVGA Precision X or MSI Afterburner you can bump that clock speed up a few notches anyway.

I'd go with the better cooled model, the MSI.
Well it depends on how your case is set up. Do you have decent airflow in your case? At least one intake for cool air and one exhaust for warm at? If the air flows through your case the Twin Frozr would run cooler and more quietly than the EVGA Superclocked. The only advantage of the EVGA would be it's blower style fan that expels the hot air directly out the back of the case. The disadvantage is that it's louder and will run a few degrees warmer.

I mean they should be similar, which one has the higher stock clocks? But if you overclock them it's all a game of chance because every single card has a different overclock potential regardless of manufacturer.

Are these the two cards in question?
