I have a DP67BG motherboard and recently bought a i5-3570k processor to go with it. Little did I know that i would need a bios update to make the processor work. Does anyone know how to update the bios on the motherboard without the cpu?

To answer question "NO". You will require a CPU to perform the task.

However you may be able to perform the following:

1. Purchase or get your hands on the lowest powered cpu for your motherboard in question go from there.

OR

2. Hotflash the BIOS chip if you can safely remove from the motherboard and place that same BIOS chip into an identical motherboard that is operational and update from there.

That´s difficult, you can´t with the board, you must get a supported cpu now.
