Alright I've asked a couple times on here without a precise decision made. I need a gaming build for $800 to $1000 that'll run Far Cry 3 at ultra settings at 60 FPS at 1920 by 1080 and Crysis 3 at ultra settings at 60 FPS at 1920 by 1080. Please include a keyboard, monitor, mouse and mouse pad. Please also list the reasons as to why you chose each part and why it would be a great piece for my build.

I have a $400 GPU and I can't play Crysis3 @ 1080p with constant 60 FPS. If you need a mouse, keyboard, monitor, and other accessories as well as the rest of the PC for $1000, it isn't going to happen. You will have to settle for less than ultra setting, or lower than 60 FPS, or at the very least just turn down anti-aliasing which is what kills the FPS.

Here's mine... Costs a little over 1k and its pretty decent.

MSI Z87 G43 gaming
MSI GTX 770 OC GAMING
650W Thermaltake SMART PSU
Inwin G7 case (cheap and pretty decent)
i5 4570 (I recommend paying 20$ extra and getting the 4670k)
Hyper evo 212 cooler
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600

Mostly, the GPU is most important. Processor is not that important in games compared to a good GPU like a 770. I got this 770 OC Gaming version for 330$ on newegg. Its at a 105 MHz overclock and pretty darn stable and cool. Far Cry 3 at 45-50 FPS on max...

This guy ^^^^^^

+1

That's a great PC for $1000 but it's not running Crysis 3 @ 1080p on Ultra with constant 60 FPS.

Yeah the anti aliasing I really never use because currently I'm using an Intel HD graphics card built into a gateway computer motherboard. :( and I didn't ask for constant 60 FPS just an average of.

Well the build that @FractalDesignCore put together is about the best you're going to do.

Alright, if you guys say so and thanks for the help FractalDesignCore.:) One question though, is the aftermarket cooler necessary if I'm not overclocking?

It is unncessary. It is just for future preference if you do make the choice to overclock. The standard fan is enough.

Alright, Thanks alot for the help!

Just to chime in on the after-market cooling. Those AMD chips warm up easily and the bundled stock cooler is garbage. The only way I would run one of those FX chips is overclocked in the 4.4GHz+ range and for $25 the cooler is almost a no-brainer. Definitely get the cooler.
