Hi, i have a Acer Predator G5900 and i recently replaced my Kingston 1333Mhz 2x2GB RAM with Corsair 1333Mhz 2x4GB RAM, my motherboard is Intel H57 and chipset is Havendale/Clarkdale Host Bridge, i recently found out that i can have a max of 16GB RAM, both pairs are dual channel so i was thinking is it possible to get my RAM up to 12GB by using the additional sticks which i replaced? Both pairs are 9-9-9-24.

Solution
Give 'em a try, 4 GB in slots 1-3 and 2GB in 2-4 - may have to take DRAM voltage up + 0.05 or so and possible the MC (memory controller) voltage up a bit also - let us know what happens and if any problems the model #s of your DRAM as well as CPU

It seems that they are working fine and there is no conflict, I used CPU ID to check the voltages and only the last reading is different. My processor is an Intel i5 650 @ 3.20Ghz
